FAKE TYPE. started putting out music around 2019, with Gotch handling vocals. Their track 'Nightmare Parade' got some attention early on. The group also has a song called 'Knickknack Kingdom.'
They've released albums with titles like 'WONDER,' 'DREAM,' and 'FAKE.' The music pulls from rock and electronic sounds. At one point, there was some talk about plagiarism, but it didn't seem to stick.
The band includes Gotch, Rui, Haru, Fuga, and So. Gotch writes most of the lyrics. Their songs sometimes touch on social topics, which has drawn mixed reactions from listeners.
