Say Hi: A Journey of Melodies and Controversies

Emerging from the bustling metropolis of Los Angeles, Say Hi embarked on a musical odyssey that would captivate audiences worldwide with their infectious melodies and thought-provoking lyrics.

Formation and Early Days:

The band's genesis can be traced back to 2006, when Eric Elbogen, Eric Sanderson, and Dave Elkins joined forces to create a sound that defied conventional categorization. Their debut EP, "The Narrow Line," showcased their eclectic blend of pop, indie rock, and electronic influences.

Breakthrough and Recognition:

Say Hi's breakthrough moment came in 2010 with the release of their single "Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh." The song's catchy hook and relatable lyrics resonated with listeners, propelling the band to mainstream success. Their follow-up album, "Say Hi," further cemented their reputation as one of the most promising bands of their era.

Challenges and Controversies:

Despite their critical and commercial success, Say Hi encountered its fair share of challenges. In 2012, Elbogen and Sanderson departed from the band, leaving Elkins as the sole remaining original member. Undeterred, Elkins recruited new members and continued Say Hi's journey.

In 2018, the band faced controversy when allegations of sexual misconduct surfaced against Elkins. The band issued a statement expressing their support for the victims and announcing Elkins' departure.
