T.O.T.S. (Turma do Otávio Santana) formed in Salvador, Bahia in 2012, led by vocalist Otávio Santana. Their debut album 'Axé Retrô' came out in 2015, featuring the track 'Gole de Felicidade' which became popular in Brazil.

They followed with albums like 'Acústico em Salvador' in 2016 and 'Axé da Alegria' in 2018. Their music blends axé rhythms with sertanejo melodies, heard in songs like 'Velocity 2' and 'Km'.

In 2019, the band faced a legal dispute over their name that led to a temporary hiatus. They've continued performing and recording since then.
