YTF is a band with members York Yeong, Tara Valentina, and Farida Fu. They put out albums like 'Ho, Ho, Ho' in 2021, 'Shine Like the Sun' in 2022, and 'Harmony in Motion' in 2023. Their songs tend to be pop and dance with some world rhythms mixed in.
Their track 'Ho, Ho, Ho' got some attention, and they have other songs like 'Christmas Swag' and 'For Your Kisses'. Some listeners have pointed out that their use of world rhythms feels borrowed, and that their sound can remind people of other artists working in similar territory.
They keep putting out music that leans into upbeat, melodic pop. It's the kind of stuff that aims for a feel-good, energetic mood without getting too complicated about it.
