Z1NHO formed in the coastal town of Itabuna, Bahia, with Felipe Melo and Daniel Nascimento as core members. Their 2004 debut album featured the track "TANTO CONQUISTEI," which became a regional hit and helped establish their presence in Brazilian music.
Their sound mixed pop, reggae, and axé elements, and they developed a reputation for energetic live shows. In 2007, they released the album "Tudo Azul" and continued performing through the following years with albums like "Som de Verão" in 2010 and "Pra Sempre" in 2015.
Melo handled lead vocals and songwriting while Nascimento played guitar and provided backing vocals. The band collaborated with other Brazilian artists including Ivete Sangalo, Chiclete com Banana, and Claudia Leitte over the course of their career.
